“Where’s the hitting?” – Fans defend BTS’ Taehyung after viral video sparks claims of “aggressive” behaviour toward female staff
On March 9, an X user called @CHA96NL uploaded a video that claimed to show BTS’ Taehyung during a tense moment with a woman. The clip quickly moved across social media and soon triggered debate about the K-pop idol’s alleged conduct toward female staff. However, supporters quickly rejected that claim and argued it lacked proper context.
A few people argued that the clip showed the performer “hitting” the woman standing near him. In the short recording, both appear close to each other. At one point, the artist moves an arm toward her more than once. The woman responds in return. Because of that brief exchange, several viewers described the moment as “aggressive.” Some critics even mentioned past situations where the idol allegedly treated women poorly.
At the same time, fans quickly stepped forward to defend V and explain what they believed actually happened. According to supporters, the clip is not from recent events. Instead, it comes from older footage that has resurfaced online. Fans also pointed out details that many people overlooked. In the video, the woman appears to hold a phone directly in front of the idol’s face. This suggests she may have been trying to take photos or record him at that moment.
Because of this, many supporters argued that the movement seen in the clip was misunderstood. Taehyung seems to push the phone away rather than strike the woman. From their perspective, the moment looked more like someone reacting to personal space being crossed. Several fans insisted the exchange did not appear violent.
“are we seeing the same thing? Where’s the hitting? She tried to take photos of him using her personal phone and he only removed her hands, yall really want idols to stay still even if they are being harassed and their personal space is being invaded so yall won’t criticise them,” an X user commented.
Supporters also shared their frustration with the way the clip spread online. Some said the woman appeared to be using her personal phone to capture pictures of the singer. As a result, the idol simply moved her hands away to stop the recording. In their view, the situation showed someone trying to protect his privacy.
However, the short video continues to spark discussion online, as viewers interpret the same moment in very different ways.
Taehyung joins CELINE Hiver 2026 through remote attendance
Kim Taehyung recently drew attention after presenting the brand’s Fall-Winter 2026 line through an unusual format. Instead of appearing at the runway venue, the artist took part in the showcase through what Elle described as “remote attendance.” Through this approach, the singer remained connected to Michael Rider’s CELINE FW26 presentation.
Around February 28, 2026, images tied to the CELINE Hiver 2026 rollout began appearing online. Soon after, a series of photographs featuring Taehyung circulated widely across social platforms. Reports shared within fan communities indicated that roughly fourteen photos were uploaded on Instagram in connection with the runway event.
These visuals were released during the lead-up to the show and worked as part of the promotional buildup. Within those images, Taehyung appeared dressed in outfits that reflected CELINE’s signature style. The look focused on clean tailoring and refined suits.
Meanwhile, Taehyung is set to return with BTS in a large-scale comeback through the ARIRANG album release, accompanied by a world tour.
