“This is very depressing.”
“They’re gonna lose 15 games. Also funny to think Geno would want to come back to NJ.”
“Wherever Wentz signs will be his 7th team in 7 years. SEVENTH TEAM. The Jets are not unlocking something in this guy that the rest of the league hasn’t been able to.”
“If the Jets trot out Carson Wentz as the starter they are telling us they are purposely tanking. Aaron Glenn can kiss away his job if this happens lol.”
“Jets are going cheap at QB . Hope they spend some money on Safety , LB , G not all below average guys.”
The Jets were also linked with former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. However, Hughes reported that the Pro Bowl signal caller is likely on his way to the Minnesota Vikings.

Carson Wentz had MVP run under new Jets offensive coordinator
Carson Wentz had his career-best season with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, winning the Super Bowl and earning his only Pro Bowl nod. Wentz had two strong seasons in Philadelphia under Frank Reich, who is the Jets’ new offensive coordinator.
Wentz had another strong season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2021, when Reich served as their coach. Wentz’s relationship with the new Jets OC has fueled speculation around the veteran quarterback’s potential reunion.
