Pokemon Pokopia Bleak Beach walkthrough

While playing Pokemon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2, the first thing you will notice is that there is no way of catching the pocket monsters. Instead, you play as Ditto in a sandbox mode and complete various requests to progress the campaign. Here’s everything you need to do to complete the Bleak Beach segment:

Repair the bridge and restore the PC

Upon completing all the requests in Withered Wasteland, pass through the green gate located east of the Pokemon Center. It serves as the entrance to the Bleak Beach area. Once inside, follow Professor Tangrowth to reach a destroyed bridge.

You can repair it using some planks. Use the Workbench in Pokemon Pokopia to craft some Bridge Planks and place them over the gap to help Professor Tangrowth get to the other side. Keep following until you reach a flooded Pokemon Center.

Place some Beach Sand on the gaps, preventing any more water from getting inside the facility. Now, interact with the PC and boot it up. Once done, talk to Professor Tangrowth to unlock the Rebuild the Pokemon Center request.

Complete Meowth’s Requests and befriend some Pokemons

The next segment of the Bleak Beach walkthrough in Pokemon Pokopia, requires you to talk to Meowth. The Pokemon should spawn right next to Professor Tangrowth. He will lead you to a shack where you must wait for him to get submerged to trigger a request.

Once again, you have to prevent water from entering the building. Place some blocks at the back of the house. Blocking the water will complete the request and unlock a Resting Spot habitat.

Find the glowing spots next to the tropical tree. You must plant some seashore flowers using Rototiller at the location to create a Tropical Vibes habitat. Now, search the knitting basket and put two blocks on the wall next to it to remove the flood water. The area will then transform into the Knitting Station habitat in Pokemon Pokopia.

The specified steps are necessary to befriend the some of the Pokemons in the area. After completing them, interact with Meowth to receive the next request. You must craft two Mushroom Lamps from the Workbench and use them to decorate his house. In case you are wondering where you can find the Glowing Mushrooms, they spawn in the nearby caves.

Talk to Meowth again before creating a Yellow Tall Grass habitat near the water. The step is necessary to befriend Piplup. Talk to this new companion and escort him to the muddy patch of land near Meowth’s house. Piplup will be eager to spray some bubbles on the mud.

Following the encounter, you must clean the area using Water Gun and talk to Meowth to complete the ongoing request.

Once done, use Piplup’s assistance to make Iron Ore from the Nonburnable Garbage. You will also unlock the recipe for Shower in the process. Place the shower in the habitat to complete Piplup’s request.

Your next request will come from Trubbish. To complete it, you must create the Breezy Flower Bed habitat in Pokemon Pokopia. It requires four Seashore Flowers to make and allows Ditto to befriend Pawmi. Escort the new acquaintance to the gate and light up the lamps to complete Trubbish’s request.

Piplup will give you another request. This time, you must make the Tropical Seaside habitat near the Palm Trees and Ikebana in Bleak Beach. You can then befriend Lapras and receive a request from him.

Brighten Things Up request

Completing the Brighten Things Up request is the final step of the Bleak Beach walkthrough in Pokemon Pokopia. But first, you must help Trubbish repair the collapsed bridge using the Sandstone Pole. Now, follow him to locate the source of a peculiar sound.

Your path will be blocked by a wall, that you can break using the Rock Smash ability. You will find a Snorlax behind it. Investigate the Pokemon and report your findings to Trubbish to receive the Brighten Things Up request.

Talk to Pawmi to find out about the three gates that you must light up first. Doing so will complete one of Meowth’s requests that you unlock along the way.

Now talk to Torchic to receive the next request for Resort Meal Prep habitat. To make it, you must place the following materials next to Palm Tree:

You must also help Peakychu connect the Utility Pole with a wind turbine. Next, place the Harbor Streelight near the Utility Pole to illuminate the entire block.

• Find the Thermal Power Plant with Torchic. The structure is located southwest of the town.
• Help Piplup locate the Hydroelectric Power Plant (southeast on the map).

• Help Trubbish connect the power pole to the lighthouse, located east of Bleak Beach.
