Country Championships contender Dunn primed to dominate at Grafton
Murwillumbah based horseman Matthew Dunn will rely on a big team of starters to enhance his winning record at Grafton on Thursday.
Dunn, who has Considered on target for the $1 million Country Championships at Randwick on April 4 after it earned its place after a recent Coffs Harbour victory, will kick off the day at Grafton when Superstitious contests the Vines At 139 Country Boosted Class 2 Handicap (1015m) with Dylan Turner to ride.

Superstitious is a winner of one of 13 starts and resumed from a spell at Lismore with a fourth placing last month.
Dunn will produce consistent Written Tycoon filly Joanjett in the Clarence Valley Wholesalers Country Boosted Maiden Plate (1190m).
Ashley Morgan takes the ride on Joanjett, which has finished second in each of her latest three starts, with the most recent being at Lismore when leading.
Morgan sticks with Dunn when partnering The Kewess in the Winters Air Benchmark 74 Handicap (1190m). The Kewess will be joined in the event by stablemate, Poseidon’s Son, which will be ridden by apprentice Liberty Smyth.
The Kewess had two barrier trials before resuming from a spell with a fifth at Ipswich behind Bravely and has a win and two placings from seven second-up assignments.
Poseidon’s Son gets into the event with 55 kilograms after Smyth’s four kilo allowance, and the gelding is out to make in three wins in a row having scored at Grafton two starts ago and Lismore when last produced when justifying an odds-on quote when leading throughout.
Turner combines again with Dunn when he does the steering on Glam in the Merlandi Farrier Services Class 1 Handicap (1190m).
