Police are searching for four suspects after a jewelry store at Conestoga Mall was robbed Monday night.
Four masked males entered the store in the mall around 7 p.m. and used hammers to damage display cases, police said. The suspects stole items before leaving the mall and fleeing in a black sedan that was waiting for them, police said.
Two of the males were described as having a small build and waring a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes. One of the men had a large white logo on their hoodie, the other wore blue gloves, a medical mask and had a green bag.
A third suspect had a medium build and was also wearing a black hoodie, grey pants, black shoes, blue gloves, a medical mask and had a green bag.
The fourth suspect had a large build and was wearing a camo jacket with black shoulders, black pants, black Nike shoes with white logo and white laces, grey gloves and had a green bag.
They were last seen going south on Davenport Road.
No one reported being physically injured.
The robbery at the mall followed a jewelry store robbery in Kitchener on Saturday afternoon.
In that investigation, police say three men entered a store in the area of Highland Road W. and Fischer-Hallman Road around 3 p.m., smashed display cases, stole merchandise and fled the area in a car that was in the parking lot.
In that case, police say a customer in the store sustained minor physical injuries.
Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
