After weeks of searching for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, Perez Hilton reacted to the “Today” co-anchor’s recent public note of gratitude following a visit to her mother’s memorial. In his March 2, 2026, article, Perez Hilton wrote:

“Savannah Guthrie has been feeling all the love and prayers the world has been sending her way.”

He added:

“Our heart continues to be with the Guthries. A month into the investigation of her disappearance, we can’t imagine how her family is feeling. We hope Nancy will be returned home safe.”

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on January 31, 2026, in the Catalina Foothills cove of her Tucson, Arizona, home. She was reported missing the following morning after her family reported that she had missed a virtual church service.

Investigators have treated her disappearance as a probable abduction following the discovery of a possible forced entry and other suspicious evidence at the house, including videotaped footage of a masked face approaching the house.

Savannah Guthrie honors Nancy Guthrie as the investigation continues

Savannah Guthrie briefly appeared at a memorial in front of her mother’s house in Tucson with her sister, Annie, and brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni. She laid flowers and later posted a message of gratitude on Instagram, acknowledging support from the community and across the country.

Savannah Guthrie paid homage to the memorial site on March 2, 2026, one month after her mother, Nancy Guthrie, went missing. The memorial that has been expanded over the weeks is a display of flowers, ribbons, crosses, and messages left by well-wishers and neighbors.
