Sparxie’s team in Honkai Star Rail must include supports that can bolster her damage output, since she will take on the DPS role in the team. However, given her Elation Path, she doesn’t really have many options to lean on. Sparxie doesn’t need them either if you pair her with Yao Guang, a dedicated support unit from the same Path, that you can obtain from the HSR 4.0 banner.

Best Sparxie teams to use in Honkai Star Rail

1) Sparxie+ Yao Guang+ Sparkle+ Huohuo

This is arguably the best team for Sparxie in Honkai Star Rail, as it contains characters that can significantly improve her damage output. Firstly, Yao Guang can frequently trigger Aha Instant, allowing the DPS to strike enemies with a powerful attack. She can also increase her ally’s Elation and provide an All-Type RES PEN effect.

Therefore, you can deal massive explosive damage using Sparxie with only Yao Guang on the team. Use Sparkles to generate more Skill Points and provide extra attack turns to the frontrunner. The frequent attack from Sparxie will generate a lot of Punchlines, allowing her to deal more Elation DMG.

The ideal sustainer for the team is none other than Huohuo. Aside from healing all allies, she also provides ATK and Energy Renegeneration.

2) Sparxie+ Yao Guang+ Cipher+ Dan Heng Permansor Terrae

An alternate Sparxie team can swap Sparkles with Cipher in Honkai Star Rail. Doing so will completely flip her playstyle. Instead of faster actions, Sparxie would want to be deliberate with her turns to trigger as many Aha instances as possible.

Of course, Yao Guang will help generate more of the stacks, allowing Cipher to record more damage. The latter can then use her ability to deal massive single-target damage. You would want to unleash the attack against bosses or tougher enemies to instantly take them out.

Sparxie can deal massive damage on her own, but this team is more catered to building Cipher’s damage stack. The composition has fewer skill points with Sparkle’s absence, so use Dan Heng Permansor Terrae in the fourth slot. He can offer protective shields without wasting any valuable resource.

It is worth noting that Sparxie doesn’t have a proper F2P team in Honkai Star Rail. You can certainly switch some of the 5-star characters with accessible options. For instance, Tribbie can be used instead of Yao Guang, as the former offers neutral buffs.

However, the absence of an Elation character in the party will result in slower Aha instance triggers. Likewise, you can use Gallagher instead of Dan Heng Permansor Terrae or Huohuo, but the end result may not be satisfactory.
