Today on Sky Sports Racing: Jumps action from Ffos Las features live on Sunday as La Higuera chases hat-trick

We have a busy day’s racing on Sunday with jumps action from Ffos Las, live on Sky Sports Racing…

3.00 Ffos Las – In-form La Higuera and Sparkling Duke do battle

In-form pair La Higuera and Sparkling Duke clash in what looks the race of the day at Ffos Las as nine head to post in the Amroth Bay Static Caravan Sales Handicap Hurdle.

Toby Lawes’ La Higuera registered a first success over hurdles at Wetherby in January and followed up by a whopping 15 lengths at Southwell next time. He is progressing nicely but will need a career best to cope with his nine-pound higher mark.

Sparkling Duke is the chief threat for Kayley Woollacott and Ben Jones. He ploughed through the mud to comfortably land a course-and-distance handicap hurdle last month and should give a bold bid despite another rise.

Clondaw Royale capitalised on a sliding mark when scoring at Wetherby last time and he has strong claims if in similar spirits here.

2.30 Ffos Las – Inishcorker and Limerick Star seek maiden victory

Inishcorker and Limerick Star bid to break their maiden in the 3A’s Wales Largest Motorhome And Caravan Dealer Maiden Hurdle at 2.30pm.

Rebecca Curtis saddles Inishcorker who has shown ability over jumps without winning and he may benefit from the drop back to two-and-a-half miles with Harry Cobden a notable jockey booking.

Limerick Star was not beaten far when fourth at Warwick on his second hurdling start and his trainer reaches for cheekpieces as they look to gain further improvement under Callum Pritchard.

Several have chances, including Mickey Bowen’s dual point-to-point winner Kenzo Des Bruyere who should strip fitter for his debut.

3.30 Ffos Las – Face d’Music looks to follow up

Last-time victor Face d’Music looks to follow up in the Paned At 3A’s Handicap Chase.

Katy Price’s gelding doubled his tally over hurdles when dourly staying on to score over nearly three miles at Chepstow and makes plenty of appeal as he switches to fences. Sure to be ridden positively on this drop in trip, he may be capable of better in this sphere.

The Evan Williams-trained Followango broke his duck over fences when winning at this track on his penultimate run and should appreciate the drop in grade having struggled in Listed company at Wincanton.

Sarah-Jayne Davies’ Dj Pete landed a two-mile handicap chase here nine days ago and must be feared as he heads up in distance under James Best.

Best of the rest

7.35 Sha Tin – Romantic Warrior faces Voyage Bubble in Group One HK Gold Cup.

2.50 Auteuil – Grade Three Prix D’Indy with eight going to post.

1.33 Auteuil – Listed affair.

4.30 Ffos Las – Francky Blue will be fancied on handicap debut.
