Winnipeg police issued an Amber Albert on Friday afternoon for a two-year-old they say was last seen being taken from a home wrapped in a blanket.

William Ettawacappo is believed to be with Caitlin Monkman and/or Kineisha Jawbone, the alert said.

The child was last seen at 54 Chesterfield Ave. in Winnipeg, and was taken from the home wrapped in a dark blue and light blue blanket, the alert said.

“It is unknown where they are going and unknown what vehicle they left in,” it said.

The alert urged anyone who sees the people mentioned to call 911 immediately and not to approach them. It also said people can check for updates on the Winnipeg Police Service’s social-media accounts, including Facebook and X.
