BABYMONSTER, also referred to as BAEMON, is a K-pop girl group that debuted under YG Entertainment in 2023. The members, Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita, made their official debut through their first EP in April 2024, BABYMONS7ER, with the title track, Sheesh.
They also soon released their debut studio album, Drip, in November 2024, which was a massive commercial success. In 2025, the members took part in various events, including the kickstart of their first world tour, Hello Monsters. The tour began with a two-day concert at the KSPO Dome in January, which also marked history as the group became the fastest female act to headline the venue.
They continued to roll out concerts at several other cities, including Newark, Los Angeles, Toronto, Rosemont, Oakland, Seattle, and many more. For part of the tour, since May 2025, Rami has been absent from the world tour and other BABYMONSTER activities due to health concerns. Around July of the same year, the group rolled out their digital single, Hot Sauce, a comeback that didn’t include Rami due to her continued hiatus.
The group also rolled out another EP, We Go Up, with a title track holding the same name as the album, in October 2025. Additionally, it was also unveiled that the K-pop girl group has officially completed the filming of their reality show, BAEMON HOUSE, and the premiere of the same can be expected soon. On the other hand, Rami’s hiatus is expected to conclude sometime in early 2026.
However, official announcements regarding the particulars of her return are yet to be made by YG Entertainment. Regardless, fans and netizens have been eagerly awaiting more releases and activities from the seven-piece K-pop girl group, BABYMONSTER.
