A man is dead, police say, following a collision on Highway 8 near Cambridge, Ont.
Burlington OPP said they responded to a two-vehicle collision at around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday near Lyndon Road in Hamilton.
“A 27-year-old male from Cambridge was pronounced deceased at the scene, and a 69-year-old male from Hamilton was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” police said in the news release.
Highway 8 was closed for several hours Sunday night as police investigated but has since reopened, according to OPP.
Police did not say whether if any charges have been laid.
