RCMP say a 93-year-old man who had gone missing from his Manitoba home has been located and is safe.

Police issued a Silver Alert Wednesday morning, asking the public to keep an eye out for the man, who had last been seen at 7 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Beausejour.

They issued an update later Wednesday morning, cancelling the alert, after the man was found.

A previous version of this story included the man’s name and photograph. Those have been removed to protect his privacy now that he is no longer missing.
