In the past few years, WWE introduced multiple championships in its main roster. It includes the mid-card titles in the Women’s division. However, the current landscape of the company has resulted in some big failures.

Following this, there are a few titles the Triple H-led promotion should retire right now. In this article, we will be looking at three WWE Championships that need to be retired imminently.

#3. WWE Women’s United States Championship

One of the titles that the Sports Entertainment juggernaut should retire right now is the Women’s United States title. Currently, the title holder is Giulia on SmackDown.

The title was introduced in December, 2024. Despite this, the Championship mainly revolved around Giulia, Chelsea Green, and Zelina Vega. Moreover, the title reign of the champions has no major element, leading to its complete failure.

Considering this, WWE should retire the mid-card Women’s title right now. It would be better if the company made the Women’s IC title a combined mid-card title for the main roster women’s roster.

#2. Women’s Tag Team Titles

Currently, the Women’s Tag Team Titles are on the shoulders of Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The Irresistible Forces recently defended their title against the Bella Twins and retained it via a no-contest.

If we look at the past few reigns of the Women’s Tag Team title, it appears that WWE is merely dragging these Championships out. There are no such challengers; instead, the company is forced to create new tag teams to get some competition.

This also led to Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss becoming tag team partners. It will be better if the Stamford-based promotion vanishes these titles right now.

#1. WWE Women’s Championship

The Women’s World Title of SmackDown is indeed facing major crises as the challengers. As WrestleMania 42 approaches, the company finally announced Rhea Ripley as Jade Cargill’s challenger.

Before this, the Storm title reign was boring and had nothing interesting to witness. Jade had no challengers or storyline on the blue brand. Even if Rhea wins the title at WrestleMania or Cargill retains the gold, it’s unlikely that either of them will get a good championship reign.

Considering this, the sports entertainment juggernaut should retire the Women’s Championship soon. It will be better if there is one women’s title for both brands.

It will create a more engaging main event scenario in the Women’s division.
