2-time WWE champion to make AEW return after 27 months and join The Hurt Syndicate? Exploring the possibility

A former WWE champion has been out of action for a long time. Fans want him to join The Hurt Syndicate in AEW.

Keith Lee’s run in AEW has been a bit disappointing, especially to fans who have been fans of his work in NXT. He went from holding the NXT Championship and the North American Title to having a disappointing run on the main roster. After he left the sports entertainment juggernaut, he joined AEW. Initially, he found a bit of success along with Swerve Strickland. Together, they won the World Tag Team Titles. However, after their tag team ended, Swerve went on a successful singles run and even won the World Title. However, the same couldn’t be said about Keith Lee. He was kept off TV for several months due to an undisclosed health issue. However, several months ago, Lee confirmed that he was fine. Despite this, Tony Khan has not used the Limitless One on TV. His last wrestling match took place in December 2023 against Brian Cage.

However, Keith Lee should make his return to AEW TV and align himself with the Hurt Syndicate. Lee would be a perfect addition to the group. He could act as the stable’s muscle, who just destroys anyone who tries to get to them. The former WWE champion possesses the skills needed to be a heel, and he would make for a terrific bad guy. The Hurt Syndicate were always missing the one person that could make this group complete, and the former WWE star might just be the person.
